About Bijrani

Bijrani is one of the most popular day-safari zones of Corbett Tiger Reserve, reached from the Ramnagar side. The landscape mixes dense sal forest with open grassland, which makes it a favourite for first-time visitors who want a full-day-trip style safari without staying inside the park.

Wildlife you may look out for

Corbett is wild forest, not a zoo. This list is what is commonly reported in the area; none of it is a promise.

  • Bengal tiger
  • Asian elephant
  • Leopard
  • Chital and sambar deer
  • Sloth bear (uncommon)
  • Many forest and grassland birds

Highlights

Frequently asked questions

How do I reach the Bijrani gate?

Our earlier safari page lists the entry as Amdanda gate. Resorts along the Ranikhet Road (Dhikuli / Garjia) are the closest cluster. Confirm the current gate and check-in time with us before you travel.

Is a tiger sighting guaranteed in Bijrani?

No. Corbett is a wild forest, not a zoo. Any zone can offer memorable wildlife and none can promise a particular animal. Patience, the right season and a good guide help.

How do I book a safari in Bijrani?

Safari entry is by permit and limited per shift. Send us your dates on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is available and how to proceed.
