Delhi to Jim Corbett
The drive from Delhi to Ramnagar is a straightforward day trip if you leave early.
The route
The usual road route runs from Delhi through Hapur, Moradabad and Kashipur to Ramnagar, as described on our earlier travel pages (confirm with us). Ask your driver for the best route on the day; expressway works and traffic change timings.
How long
Plan for five to seven hours including a stop. Leaving early helps you reach in time for an afternoon safari.
Train option
An overnight train to Ramnagar lets you wake up at the edge of Corbett (confirm with us). Book early; it is popular.
Timing your safari
